librarianpirate: poplibrary: (via Infographic: Anatomy of a Librarian) Unf.  Nothing like an infographic pointing out how much less than you make than the “average” librarian to make you feel like an underachiever who lets her family down. Right? Who the hell is this “average” librarian, and how on earth do I get their job? (I know it’s probably due to the inclusion of like library directors who have MLS degrees and such, but still.)
